SPE UNIBEN'S HOD cup is set to begin on the 6th of December with the opening fixture of 300LEVEL against 400LEVEL. The fixture schedule was officially announced by the departments director of sport 'TIJANI O MUSA', on the 1st of December, 2016.
The 300Level spe team faces 300Level production team in a friendly match on Saturday the 3rd, ahead of their tournaments campaign. 'this friendly match will be used to send a signal to other levels of spe that we are the best' the 300 level team captain said in a social media broadcast. The last fixture between the 300 and 400 level spe rivals ended in a dramatic win of the prospective IT students, where they came back from 3-1 down at half time to grab a late winner against the younger side to win 5-4.
Unfortunately the departments new comers would not be participating in this tournament due to some academic issues. Leaving 200, 300, 400 and 500 level to rumble for a spot in the final and take home the prize..
