Spe uniben student chapter presents a forum tagged 'INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITIES DISCUSSION WITH PROFESSIONALS'
The professional who gave the lecture was ENGINEER FRANCIS (NPDC).
The event started up on a high note with the vice president of spe uniben chapter (ROBERT NIMI) who kicked off the event with an opening prayer. Followed immediately by a 500L student (OJUKWU) who held the audience in accord as we awaited the speaker to arrive.
FRANCIS NNANNA OKO (NPDC) was the first of the ambassadorial lecturers to speak. He introduced the topic of the day "INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITIES". He narrated his struggle in getting to the height he is right now and also gave some bullet points for success in the university and even in getting into the industry. Specifically he emphasized on hardwork of which reading was a major part of. He also urged the audience not to be idle even after our academic journey seemed over and also continue reading any book or article that could make us better.
His lecture ended with a couple of intelligent questions asked by random students.
Finally, the event was closed by the spe president (EDIDIONG THOMPSON) who gave a validitory speech and appreciated our guest speaker for honouring our invitation
